meet the babes

You won’t find a more local crew of prairie girls than this group of babes right here. All born and raised in Saskatoon, and while I might be biased, some of the most talented artists I have ever met.

hi, i'm lizzie

While I was raised locally I’ve always had the itch to travel and over 4 years ago I set off to be trained in sunny Los Angeles by world renowned brow queen, Kelley Baker. Recognizing the beauty and value of natural-looking brows, I was pumped to start my ow entrepreneurial adventure to spread the brow love in my hometown of Saskatoon.

I’ve always had a thing for brows, I was the girl doing everyone’s brows at a sleepover, (and cutting bangs, *cringe* ) Brows frame the face. The right brows can give someone a whole new look. It’s simple, it’s quick, it’s affordable, and you get a fresh look.

I’m so happy and lucky that I can do what I love, in the city I call home, surrounded by the best clients a girl could hope for. Hands down, the people are what make this worth it. I couldn’t ask for a better bunch of ladies to hop in my chair every damn day, than my Saskatoon babes. I am so thankful you all trust me with your faces day after day.

Let me introduce you the babes I’m honored to work alongside…

meet taylor

I’ve known this babe almost my entire life, and share an abundance of nieces and nephews. A few years back it became evident we also shared a love for the beauty industry. When it was time to expand, Taylor was the perfect fit.

This babe has had a knack for faces since day one. Always on top of every trend, she started out her makeup career at a young age behind a beauty counter.

Taylor worked her way up until she landed herself a management position at MAC Cosmetics where she built her MUA portfolio having access to a wide range of products & training opportunities throughout her career.

She trained beside me doing brows for months and started doing brow services full-time at the studio over two years ago. It’s been incredible to watch this babe hone and perfect her skill set. If you’ve met her, you know the studio is a better place because of her.

meet whitney

Whitney started braiding out of necessity when she had her oldest daughter. Her daughter has very curly hair and she quickly discovered that braiding it made both of their lives much easier. After much trial and error, braiding soon became her passion, and with each braid she found herself getting better than her last.

After braiding a few friends and requests for more, Whitney began to take on clients in the kitchen of her home. As dope as it was to be braiding, she quickly outgrew the corner in her kitchen and so when I invited to come share the studio space at The Brow Babe, she jumped right on it.

News has spread quickly of this braid boss, and she has quickly built up an amazing clientele.
Whitney is so proud that what started off as a hobby and a passion has now evolved into a unique service offered at The Brow Babe.

meet katie

Katie is a braid enthusiast who initially learned to braid so that she could send her daughter out into the world with amazing, and protective hairstyles.

What began out of necessity soon turned into and art and passion. It wasn’t long before under the wing of her long-time friend, Whitney, Katie joined the Can-Braid Family.

Braids are in high demand and it was clear that we needed another braid girl in the studio. From day one, Katie has been the best addition to our team and is becoming a braid-force to be reckoned with.

You’ve probably already seen her signature coloured braids out-and-about in Saskatoon. Keep your eye on this one, she shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
